Volunteers support auto racing in many ways. We have several main clubs here in the PNW that support our road racing: Cascade Sports Car Club, Oregon Region SCCA, and Friends of PIR. Our goal is to open the door to our community to showcase ways we can all be involved in racing right here at our favorite, fastest city park!
How many ways can you be involved? SO MANY! From trackside, as a flagger and communicator or safety team member. Or in the paddock with timing and scoring or technical inspections. Or even pre-event with registration or equipment support. Racing needs all kinds of minds!
Please join us on March 14th from 9 am -11 am at PIR for the PIR Volunteer Fair. We will have multiple speakers covering the different specialties of a race weekend you could be involved in, as well as some Rose Cup Race and IndyCar-specific event opportunities.
