Trent Thelen has been a Portland resident for over 20 years. In that time he has worked on visioning plans for PIR, plus has been involved in many planning and urban design projects throughout the Portland Metro area. He is dedicated to seeing PIR become a world-class racing facility and another gem to the Pacific Northwest and the City of Portland. His view of PIR is that it is a unique facility within the City and needs to be shepherded to the next level for future generations to enjoy. Although he does not participate in any form of racing at the track, he has taken his car out on a public track day only to wear out his engine mounts very quickly.
