Mike Smith started racing Motocross as a teenager in 1976 at PIR’s famous Thursday Night Motocross, which is still going strong. He started racing his ’67 Mustang with ORSCCA in 2008 and continues to race with ORSCCA, SOVREN, SVRA, and CSCC. He currently serves as Race Chairman for Cascade Sports Car Club and Friends of PIR. Professionally Mike has been designing Fire Sprinkler Systems since 1986. Mike joined the FOPIR board earlier in 2023 and is dedicated to preserving PIR and its history along with moving forward with the changing times.
